Where it all started:
10 years ago I bought an ecommerce business Sirens Swimwear, but despite the fact we had raving fans I was struggling to get customers to convert online.
I wanted to try something different so I took a bold move and sent out a box of 5 items to 100 fans, for them to be able to touch, try and experience my brand in the comfort of their own home which resulted in 99 of them purchasing and many purchasing more than 1 item.
I discovered not only a conversion tool but a way to massively increase my average order value. My average order increased by 66% and I had the same success in the US market despite charging shipping of $15-$25 per parcel! The customers wanted the Try@Home experience!
With other brands wanting to offer the same experience to their customers I launched Try@Home to the market, as an approved Shopify App, in 2022.
