Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will be primarily responsible for providing analytics and insights into the operations of the Try@Home business.  In addition, the Data Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing reporting systems that will provide visibility to management and stakeholders across the business.  Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, the Data Analyst will provide in-depth and insightful business intelligence to support and empower the businesses to achieve strategic goals for growth. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement ETL processes for new Data Streams
  • Build standardised and consistent business reporting supporting the various areas of the business.
  • Develop scalable dashboard/visualisation solutions and analytic tools/apps for management and stakeholders
  • Produce data, analytics and insights from data sources across the business
  • Support the CEO and COO with ad-hoc analysis, custom report development as well as analysis and insights in a timely manner. 
  • Proactively identifying ideas and recommendations to help drive the business outcomes

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or Statistics or other relevant qualification
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a Data Analyst role. 
  • Proven experience in data models, database design and development and data mining techniques
  • Strong knowledge and experience of reporting systems (PowerBI, QuikSight etc)
  • Strong ability to write comprehensive reports and present information in an easily digestible and visually appealing manner
  • An analytical, critical mind and inclination for problem solving
  • Ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong business acumen
